KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE NETWORK

Brain dark teal.png

A space for educators and caregivers to learn together.

The Knowledge Exchange Network (KEN) is an online resource dedicated to fostering collaboration and communication between educators and caregivers*. The KEN mission is to leverage the experience and expertise of both educators and caregivers and harness that collective wisdom to ensure every child receives the support and resources they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

*We use the term educator to reference all those working in schools and school systems - teachers, administrators, support staff, and district personnel. We use the term caregiver to refer to parents, guardians, extended family, foster parents, and other significant adults in a child's life.

Meet Dr. Kristen Nguyen

The Knowledge Exchange Network (KEN) is the brainchild of Dr. Kristen Nguyen, whose initials conveniently happen to be K.E.N. An educator by trade, it was the arrival of her actual human child that sparked the idea that caregivers and educators have tons to learn from and with one another.

Dr. Nguyen believes collaboration and dialogue has the power to transform individuals and promote equity, inclusion, and healing in communities. The Knowledge Exchange Network is intended to create space for educators and caregivers to share ideas, practices, and resources that help young people everywhere thrive.
